Environment recycling project for the Suarez quarry.
The project is part of a wider system of re-naturalization of the quarries around Naples.
The design philosophy is twofold: on the one hand it aims to the restoration of significant morphological, functional and eco-friendly issues of the places as they appeared before mining began in the 60s of the ‘900. In doing so, we aim to save the tracks of the ex-tractive activity, since it represents an important aspect of the complex history of the area, conditioning the shaping of specific land-scapes – the imposing amphitheater that open in the landscape rural, with their majestic vertical sides – well characterized by their sheer ability of suggestion.
