The project includes the functionality maintainance check and the safety procedures for the drainage of Casanova dam on the Chiascio river. In particular, the retaining structures aimed to the enlarge-ment of the artificial drainage tunnel have been analyzed. The artificial tunnel is contained between two bulkheads of piers (
1200) and concrete beams on the top, with a 3.90 m pitch, while they are clamped in the bedrock on the bottom.
